Data Plans
Verizon data plans can have up to 10 devices which share data from one bundle.
There is a monthly price for the data bundle and each device on the plan.

Data overage fee is $15/GB. There are no unlimited data plans.

No Smartphones
Verizon data only plans cannot be used with smartphones (iPhone, Android, etc).

With a contract, devices are subsidized.
You can use your own data-enabled devices without a contract.
